Mary Gross has been a life-long learner. In fact, her love for learning has taken her career to places she couldn’t have imagined. She began in accounting, because she liked numbers and organization. But as she rose through the ranks in finance, she found that what energized her most was developing her team and helping them learn and grow. She soon moved from focusing on financial capital to focusing on human capital.
Mary brings the expertise, skills, and ability to facilitate large groups (educational programs, roundtables, advisory groups) and achieve meeting goals. She works with efficiency, and has a knack for listening and picking up on the most important things clients are saying. Mary has designed vaccine-specific programs that are interactive and take into account adult learning theory and styles. She has expertise in designing and delivering training programs and development programs across multiple organization types. She also has extensive experience starting with pilot programs, integrating feedback and designing and delivering sustainable, full-scale programs.
Guided by her own desire to keep learning, in January 2015, Mary completed her doctorate in Organizational Psychology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She also has an MBA (with honors) from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Accounting from The University of Maryland. She is a corporate board director for Unity Bancorp (since 2009) and a member of the Philadelphia Society of People and Strategy and the Society of Human Resource Management.
