Trained as an engineer, Eric possesses the right blend of creative and analytical thinking. He has 30 years of experience with Merck, having worked in multiple divisions of the company, with particularly strong experience in the areas of sales, marketing and commercialization strategies. He also has expertise in leveraging digital and other non-traditional channels to better reach customers. Many of his assignments at Merck involved creating a framework around an ambiguous problem, and then coming at the problem in an innovative way. This is especially true in the area of vaccines, where his strategic thinking is an excellent match for inKlein initiatives.
Eric understands that healthcare is a moving target, requiring nimbleness and creativity–qualities he brings in abundance to inKlein. An endurance athlete who also competes in CrossFit , Eric is passionate about good health, whether it’s working toward the goal of improving public health or helping individuals make better choices.
